Rathmullan Sailing and Watersports Club have organised a blessing of the boats for Friday 27 June 2013. LSYC members are welcome to join and bring their boats. It starts at 8pm with an interdenominational blessing, and the Colmcille choir will be in attendance for the evening.

Can anyone willing to offer there assistance for the Foyle sailability Event next week please let me know.
The event will take place on 18th – 19th June 12.00 – 4pm each day at the Clipper pontoons in Derry,
I am trying to gather names today and would appreciate a mail to let me know who may be available.

This weekend, 14th June, is the annual Tory Island Race!
Race Start at 0900 sharp with a Spit start (due to Tidal restrictions)
Prize given will be in the Tory Island Hotel and all Yachts are reminded to declare their times within 1 Hour of their finish.
There even looks to be some sun on Troy Island too!!

As part of the celebration evening for Derry~Londonderry~Doire on Friday June 27th, we intend to run a raffle with a selection of prizes, and donate the proceeds to the "DLD" crew fund. Each yacht has a fund for extras, repairs and treats during the race and relies upon the generosity of friends and family to help. The Committee thought that this would be a most useful gift for the crew, and would be much appreciated by everyone on board.

If you would like to donate a prize for the raffle on the night, please contact Richie Fearon.
