Football Special Cruise to Ramelton, This Saturday 26 July 2014

Lets hope the fine weather will continue over the weekend and for Saturday’s cruise to Ramelton. Departure is 330pm from Rathmullan. High water Rathmullan is 1907hrs (3.93m)

Firsty has travelled the Ramelton channel recently and will follow the schedule below for any boat that wishes to travel in flotilla:

330pm – depart Rathmullan
445pm – arrive Ramelton
615pm – depart Ramelton (on a rising tide).

Conways Bar will host us for a Football Special Reception from 500pm to 600pm, and listen on Ch06 for more information on the day.

Spending Friday night in Rathmullan would make for a more relaxed start to the cruise on the Saturday.

WOW! Women on the Water – Sunday 20th July

This year’s Women on the Water Event, in conjunction with the Irish Sailing Association takes place on Sunday.

There will be one start for all yachts and one race. Prizes will be awarded according to which category the yacht fits most closely.

Start time is 12:00 on the Fahan Start Line.

Come along and support this great event.

Granuaile Race “Regatta Tea”

The arrangements for the Granuaile Race this weekend include a traditional "Regatta Tea" in the Clubhouse after racing.

All members, whether competing or not are invited to join us after racing for sandwiches, cakes and ‘tray bakes’ with tea, coffee and bar refreshments.

Racing starts at 10:00 and tea will be served at 14:00 or as soon as possible thereafter.

In the tradition of the Yacht Club Regatta Tea, the sandwiches and cakes are provided by the members, so if you are coming along, just bring a loaf of sandwiches, or your favourite cake to add to the table.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
