"This is truly the Adventure of a Lifetime. A life changing experience for all involved and a chance not to be missed. The programme of activities on board are designed to develop confidence, interaction skills, motivation and a work ethos. At the very least, it will be an excellent experience to include on your CV…at the most, it could lead to a career in the maritime industries. Trainees will meet members of the port, Naval and shipping industries and learn about opportunities for future careers.
They will learn how they can enjoy applying themselves in a challenging environment. They will make new friends for life from lots of different places." Michael Byrne, Manager, Sail Training Ireland.
