IRC certificates should be lodged with Kieran McAllister, Sailing Secretary for all yachts in Class 1.
Race Declaration Forms must be left in the Clubhouse after racing for all yachts participating in each race.
Blank forms can be downloaded from the web-site and kept on board your boat.
Come along to the Clubhouse this Sunday 14 April 2013 at 12.30 pm and get your season off to a great start with some good food and good company, before the competitive challenges of the year.
We will have two courses for €15, half price for kids and free food for the younger ones under 7.
We will also have face painting from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm. This is intended for the younger ones, but is open to all!
The general committee has agreed a change to the points system relating to a sole yacht in a race; change in points awarded from 2 points to 4 points. The revised LSYC General Racing Regulations, Section N paragraph reads: “Four points will be awarded to a yacht which is the sole boat in a fleet and which starts and completes the course.”
The Sailing Calendar for 2013 is now uploaded and available from the link on the left panel on the web-site.
Further web-site updates for 2013 will be published in the next few weeks as the information becomes available.
The Opening Day Lunch will be held in the Clubhouse on Sunday 14th April at 12.30 pm.
