Lough Swilly Yacht Club

The Women on Water race is this Saturday, 400pm start, followed by the Mid Summer BBQ and prize giving in the clubhouse. The race is part of the ISA/Action Breast Cancer initiative, so we are hoping to have a good turnout.

We will fire up the BBQ at 630pm and will provide some burgers etc., and you are welcome to bring your own to grill also. We aim to have a DJ for some dancing and fun………

To gauge numbers, please let us know if your boat will sail and if you intend to eat and dance in the clubhouse afterwards. Please email Antoin (antoinmacg) or Kieran (kieran). This would be much appreciated to help organise the evening.

For those of you who fancy an afternoon at the White Harte while waiting for the tide after the Swillymore race, Rathmullan House Road Food will be served at the White Harte 5pm to 8pm Saturday 15 June 2013.

NOTE: CHANGE OF START TIME.

Start Time for Saturdays race will now be 9.30AM sharp.
This hopefully will enable boats to return to Marina immediately after race.

Weather is looking fine for our weekend trip to Oileán Thoraigh (albeit light winds) and a royal welcome awaits.

The hotel is closed so our evening festivities will take place in An Club. The cafe will be open on Saturday and can provide breakfast on Sunday morning, although it is probably wise to book that on Saturday evening.
