Folks, the Railway Tavern Regatta takes place this Saturday, 3rd September with a 10am scheduled start. There will be food provided in the Railway Tavern at 3pm, but we need an indication of numbers by tomorrow evening. With the weather forecast being light over the next 36 hours the race scheduled to start at.10pm this evening has been cancelled.

Hi all,
This weekend sees our annual Swillymore race on Saturday with a start time of 10am. Racing instructions will be given on Saturday morning. We will have a presentation in the Clubhouse at 7pm on Saturday evening with refreshments available.
Sunday is our Women on Water race scheduled for 9am. We may have one or more fleets depending on numbers and again, detailed racing instructions will be given that morning. Prizegiving in the clubhouse will follow.
Let us hope the weather improves and it would be great to see plenty of boats on the water.

Dear Members,
Our Midsummer BBQ will be going ahead, thankfully. I have extended the purchase time on Eventbrite to 4pm on Wednesday. This is the preferred method of payment, as all food is ordered fresh, and our caterer needs finalised numbers on Wednesday evening. Some members have found difficulty in paying on Eventbrite. If so, I ask that you try it a few times. If you have continued trouble, please confirm your attendance with me and you can pay me on the day. The Clubhouse will be open from 1pm and BBQ will be served from 2pm.

Members,
A reminder that tickets for Midsummer BBQ need to be purchased by this Sunday at 2pm. This is because our caterer needs a weeks notice. I really hope that the event goes ahead, but if we don’t get the minimum number, the event will be cancelled and refunds issued.
