A reminder that a valid IRC certificate is required to participate in the IRC Class, and the opening day race is just a few weeks away!

It is proposed to designate certain areas in and around Ireland as new Special Areas of Conservation. This was announced in the press in late 2012 and the Club has been formally notified recently. One of the areas is east of Inishtrahull. The deadline for observations or objections is 5 March 2013. The notification and maps received from the Department (for this and the other sites) can be found in the clubhouse for viewing if any member is interested.

If 10 boats wish to avail of an offer of a season ticket for the Rathmullan pontoon, there is a reduced price of €150 per boat.
