My name is Sinead Smyth, impressionist oil painter from Inishowen, putting together an exhibition for heritage week in Tullyarvin Mill, Buncrana, called ‘Of land and sea’.
I’m looking for old sail cloth, linen if possible, to paint on for the exhibition.

Just a reminder that the White Harte Regatta is due to the place next Saturday, 21st May. High tide in the morning is at 7.00am, so most boats will need to leave the marina by 09.00am. I would ask boats to make their way to Rathmullan, where we will start the regatta around 10.00 – 10.30am. Detail will be provided later.
As you know, the McAteer family and the White Harte are extremely generous in their sponsorship of this event and have provided us with excellent hospitality over the years. I would like to give them some prior notice about numbers who will be coming to the regatta, so it would be very helpful if you could let me know if you’re coming. It’s only a few days now until the first race of the season, for those early worm-gatherers among us.
The calendar of dates and start times has been prepared by our sage sailing committee, and uploaded today.
Sadly, the IT department now appears to have gone AWOL and you will have to wait for a few weeks for the rest of the web-site to be updated for 2016.
