Lough Swilly Annual Dinner Dance and Prize-giving

Dear Members,
The Annual Dinner Dance and Prize-giving will take place in An Grianan Hotel on Friday 3rd November.
The order of events (subject to confirmation) will be:
• 7 p.m.Commodore’s Reception
• 8 p.m. Dinner followed by Prize-giving.
• Dancing to Sensations.
The price per ticket is €50.
As tables are usually organised by boats, I would ask Skippers to let me know how many are likely to attend, an early estimate would be much appreciated.
If individuals or small groups would like to join a mixed table, please contact me so I can arrange it.
Again, early indication of attendance/numbers would be much appreciated to facilitate the Hotel’s organisation of the event.

Gollan Cup- Cruising Log

Dear Fellow Members,

You are invited to submit your Cruising Logs, to be considered for the awarding of the Gollan Cup for Cruising for 2017.

The cruise may be of any duration, under power or sail and may be illustrated by photographs, charts or sketches.

The progressive system in use for the Club Fleet seems to be working well. We have now had four different winners in the six Granuaile races. And the corrected times are clustering together. All to play for. Anyone can win tomorrow……..

Return of Trophies

It is time for those who won trophies last year to return them so that they can be prepared for the prize giving at this year’s dinner dance on in early November.
