OPENING DAY LUNCH – FINAL DETAILS

Just a final reminder that the Opening Day Lunch will be held in the clubhouse next Sunday. The menu will offer a choice of a chicken or beef dish, followed by dessert. Cost will be €20, €10 for kids..

Can I ask people to come about 12.30pm to 1.00pm with a view to eating about 1.30pm.

Finally, if there are any vegetarians among you, can you let me know and I will see if I can get something organised for you.

Clubhouse Painting and Spring Clean

I would just like to say a big thank you to everybody who made a contribution to the clubhouse painting and spring clean yesterday. The place is looking brilliant. It was a truly magnificent effort and we were blessed with the weather.

I counted 18 people who came (too many to name) and everyone of them made a great contribution, but I would like to say a particular, personal thank you to Peter Smyth, who organised all the paint and equipment and who kept us all focussed on the day.

It has transformed the clubhouse and just shows what we can do when we put our minds to it. If you haven’t seen it and are in the vicinity, call round and have a look.

Race Calendar 2016 is now on-line

It’s only a few days now until the first race of the season, for those early worm-gatherers among us.

The calendar of dates and start times has been prepared by our sage sailing committee, and uploaded today.

Sadly, the IT department now appears to have gone AWOL and you will have to wait for a few weeks for the rest of the web-site to be updated for 2016.

Clubhouse Spring Cleaning

Now that the bright nights are starting to come in, the clubhouse if beginning to look a wee bit sad. So we have decided to organise organise a spring clean and refresh on Saturday 9th of April. I’m looking for volunteers to help out. If you’re up for it, can you email me at egbrendan@gmail.com.
