Hot Toddie 1 results

The internet connection at the club is down so I cannot publish the results to the website in the usual way.

Hopefully the results should be attached. They will go up on the website once the connection is restored.

Please note that the Club fleet results attached are different from those people may have seen if they went to the clubhouse after the race yesterday. They were calculated on the Club Rating basis and had the following places on corrected time:

1 Lilium
2 Cloudy Bay
3 LadyHawk
4 Moriah
5 Mountain Mist.

The Club Rating results are for information only. The attached Progressive results are the ones that count.

Trophies

There has been a very disappointing response to the request for the return of cups and trophies.  So far I have been contacted by only four skippers.  Unless they are returned soon, it will not be possible to get them engraved for the Annual Dinner Dance.

Could I again ask those who have not returned their trophies to do so urgently and to let me know by email at: egbrendan@gmail.com.

Lough Swilly Annual Dinner Dance and Prize-giving

Dear Members,
The Annual Dinner Dance and Prize-giving will take place in An Grianan Hotel on Friday 3rd November.
The order of events (subject to confirmation) will be:
• 7 p.m.Commodore’s Reception
• 8 p.m. Dinner followed by Prize-giving.
• Dancing to Sensations.
The price per ticket is €50.
As tables are usually organised by boats, I would ask Skippers to let me know how many are likely to attend, an early estimate would be much appreciated.
If individuals or small groups would like to join a mixed table, please contact me so I can arrange it.
Again, early indication of attendance/numbers would be much appreciated to facilitate the Hotel’s organisation of the event.
