Portsalon pint & quatz
This Sunday sees our final long distance race of the year. This race will a pursuit style race with the first boat planned to start at 9.30am from the start line in Fahan.
Course will be confirmed on the day depending on wind conditions, but will more than likely follow the normal format of swillymore to port and finish at portsalon pier no more than 100 metres.
As the pier in portsalon is closed for works we plan to continue to Rathmullan for a prizegiving in the white heart. Hope to see as many boats out as possible.

Further instructions will be available each day from the race committee. The racing may be extended or curtailed on the day depending on weather conditions.
Entry fee is €30 per boat for members and €40 per boat for non members. This is payable on Saturday morning at the skippers briefing and registration in the clubhouse. All boats wishing to race must register.
Guys considering it looks like Saturday will be a washout and gusty, we think it’s better to reschedule the women on water event to this Sunday at 3.30pm.
This will run concurrently with the Helmsman 6 race as the winners of both fleets have already been decided at this point in the series.
There will be a prize giving in the clubhouse after the event and there’s a newly sponsored award for this years annual prizegiving.
Numbers are looking good atm, hope to see as many on the water as possible ⛵️
