The season is drawing to a close, and our thoughts are turning to next year. We have had a very small committee this year, and it would be great to get more of our members involved to help make the most of the great facilities we have here on the Swilly.
We have added a new “Organisation” page to the web-site to show all of the activities required to run our club. Take a look!
We’ve broken down the work into jobs that can be taken on without a huge commitment, and explain what is involved in each of the roles.
Many of these do not involve joining the Committee.

We will be delighted to hear from you.
Your committee members work hard behind the scenes, and much of this is invisible to the members. With more people helping out, we can share the tasks and make it fun for everyone.
If you use the club, and enjoy what’s provided, think about how you can help. Remember, your fees only cover running costs, not the time committed by your committee to ensure that you have a great sailing season every year.
Here’s hoping 2012 will be one of the best!
