The Annual Lifeboat Regatta will take place this SATURDAY 22nd JULY.

Start Time 16.30 as per Race Calender.

It is intended to collect 20euro from each competing Yacht ( At least !) for Donation to RNLI

Dear Members,
There have been concerns raised by Skippers during the week about the forecast weather conditions for the Melmore Rally. In view of this and in the interests of safety it has been decided to cancel this weekend’s Rally. I will be in discussion with the Sailing Secretary with a view to re-scheduling.

Start at Club Start Line.

Finish leaving Spit to Starboard in Transit with Kinnegar not more than 50mtrs from Spit buoy.

To all Club Members

The Club rib has gone missing (stolen) from the Marina. It was moored at the top of the finger where the trawlers are.
Could all Club Members and friends please try and remember when/if they last saw it during the past week. It was there after the race last Sunday evening.
The theft was reported today, but I have to make a statement to An Garda tomorrow morning and they have requested as much information and detail as possible. If anyone has precise details about the rib, i.e. engine number etc. or noticed any unusual activity in the Marina, please contact me urgently.
