Irish Naval Vessel Moored at the Pier, open to the public

Opening hours to be confirmed

11am Regatta Racing – Keel boat racing organised by Lough Swilly Sailing Club, in the vicinity of the Pier

2.30pm Rathmullan Regatta Memories film at Scarpellos on the beach

3pm Fancy Dress, Registration at Putting Green

3pm Caledonian Pipe Band – sponsored by RSWC

3.30 – 5.30pm Trevor Loughery, Country Favourite,

sponsored by Rathmullan Community Festival

3.30pm Spectacular rescue demonstration with RNLI Lifeboat and Coastguard Rescue Helicopter on the water

4pm Annual Parade of Boats from the Kinnegar Buoy to the Abbey (All participating vessels in the Annual Parade to be assembled at the Kinnegar Buoy for 4pm).

Berthing Master on Pontoon and Water Taxi available for visiting Boats – Call Channel 72

4.30pm Parade of Boats passing in formation at Pier Head

Participating boats will include RNLI, Navy, Coastguard, Inland Fisheries & other agencies

5pm Reception hosted by Rathmullan Sailing & Watersports Club for all Parade participating crews and invited guests at Sailing Compound

6.30 – 8.30pm Music – Eldorado

MELMORE RACE

Hi all,The Melmore Race takes place this coming Saturday 14th July starting at 10am from the club starting line, with boats mooring up for the night in Fanny’s Bay for a Commodore’s inspection. Further instructions on the day before race start.
Hope to see as many of you as possible on the day

Swillymore Race tomorrow 30/06/18

Start 9am from Club starting line .
Finish line will be to the leaving Spit Buoy to Starboard in a Transit with Kinnegar Buoy not more than 100mtrs east of Spit.

Any further marks on the Course will be announced prior to racing .

TORY RACE

Tory Race Saturday 16th June 2018

9.00am Start from LSYC direct to Tory .

The finish line will be as follows .

A transit between the east end of the Pier which is 55 15.784’N 8 13.546’W

and a virtual mark 55 14.500’N 8 13.500W which will be the outer limit mark .

All competing Yachts must take their own elapsed time and relay same to me at the earliest convenience .

We hope to get race away on time so can everyone please be “on time”
