The details for Saturday’s cruise to Ramelton. Departure is 5.00pm from Fahan. High water Rathmullan is 1947hrs (4.7m).

Lets hope the weather plays its part tomorrow with sunshine forecast for the afternoon….Maybe a spot of sun cream required???

Mountain Mist will step in on Firsty’s behalf. Note, Mountain Mist has never travelled the Ramelton channel…any boat that wishes to travel in flotilla can do so with the knowledge that MM may hit bottom first!!!

Schedule as below:

5.00pm – depart Fahan
6.15pm – arrive Ramelton
6.45pm ‘ish– depart Ramelton (on a rising tide).

Conways Bar will host us for a Football Special Reception from 530pm to 630pm, and listen on Ch06 for more information on the day.

Thanks to all those who took part in todays race and their support crews.

This Sunday, 11th August, sees the Annual Women on Water event. The race is due to start at 14:30 at Fahan.

We are hoping for fair weather and a good turn out.

Thank you to all the weekends participants, weather was much as usual for an Irish summer, everything thrown in.
Thanks also goes to the Officers and crew of L.E. Ciara for the use of their bridge for the committee vessel and also the use of a number of her crew who volunteered for crewing duties for some of the sailing yachts yesterday.
Thanks to Wardance and TicTac for venturing into the lough for the weekend.
And again great to see the two classic Folk Boats on the water yesterday with at least one having been competing in their 51st annual regatta without missing a year.
Thanks go to the committee members and club officers who helped to make this another memorable year.
