See the update to the IRC certificate requirements. The changes are in line with IRC rules as updated 2021. The statement below is the update to the LSYC requirements.
Boats sailing in the IRC Class without a current IRC certificate for 2021 will have 10% added to their 2020 handicap for all events taking place before 31st May.
Current year IRC certificates MUST be received by 31st May (IRC Rule 8.12). Boats will not be eligible to sail in any race without an IRC Certificate. All race points scored before 31st May will be declared void and the races rescored. Subsequent production of an IRC certificate will not reinstate the points.
Please note that it will not be possible to race in the Regatta series without a current IRC certificate.
This effective for the resumption of racing from 7th June as per ISA guidance.
